Return to In-Person Events

We've missed you!

Starting in July, the Cobb Chamber is taking a phased and hybrid approach to offering in-person events and meetings along with offering the option to attend virtually for many events. We're excited to welcome you back to the events you know and love, like Cobb Connections, Area Councils and Business After Hours.

As our community's response to COVID-19 continues to evolve, our in-person events will include measures to promote safety and prevent the spread of the coronavirus. If you choose to attend our events in person, the event environment will promote social distancing and event protocols guided by the CDC and Cobb & Douglas Public Health.

As part of our phased approach, Cobb Chamber members will continue to have the option to attend most of our events virtually. For events such as Marquee Monday and Area Councils, the Cobb Chamber is launching a livestreaming option for attendees. If attending virtually for an event is an option, you'll be able to make that selection when you register, before the event.

Whether attending virtually or in-person, you will be required to register in advance. We will not be able to accept walk-up attendees not registered at this time.

There's a lot to cover, and we imagine that you'll have a lot of questions about our new event experience. Please review our list of Frequently Asked Questions, and our answers below.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q Will I have to wear a mask at Chamber events?

Q Will there be food at events?

        A
Events offered during meal times will still offer a COVID-safe dining option. Meals may be prepackaged or served cafeteria style.
If you are attending an event during standard meal times and have any concerns, please contact the event manager associated with that event (contact information is available on the event registration page).

Q How will I be notified if there was an exposure to COVID-19 at a Cobb Chamber event?

        A
If someone has been exposed or tests positive after attending one of our events, Cobb Douglas Public Health will perform contact tracing measures and will notify all exposed individuals. Contact tracing is the process of quickly identifying, assessing, and managing people who have been exposed to COVID-19 to prevent additional transmission.
